A two-day workshop that introduces students to sculpture-making through piñatas. Students will design and construct their own piñata using cartonería techniques.
Learning Goals

By the end of the workshop students will:
- Demonstrate understanding of the history and purpose of piñatas.
- Learn traditional cartonería techniques such as layering cardboard, paper, and wheat paste.
- Understand the basic characteristics of sculptures as a three-dimensional art form.
Deliverable
Students will build a three-dimensional individual piñata using traditional techniques.
