Verónica Verdugo collaborates with the in-school programming team at Arte to develop lesson plans centered around Spanish-language books that connect to immersive arts experiences. These lessons focus on helping students build artistic techniques and foundational creative skills. In her role, Verónica manages art materials and prepares templates, worksheets, and graphics that students use in their art projects. Verónica is currently an art student at California State University, Fresno, with an emphasis in ceramics. Prior to joining Arte, she worked extensively in public elementary schools through both after-school and full-day summer programs in Fresno and Clovis Unified School Districts, where she frequently incorporated art into her enrichment activities.
As a local artist, Verónica dedicates much of her time to ceramics and painting. Over the past three years, she has participated in several vending events to sell and market her artwork. She has also exhibited her work in local shows, including at Clay Mix and Scarab Creative Arts.
