Joseph is the Associate Facilities Manager at Arte Americas, where he maintains, updates, and upgrades the space to meet the needs of Arte’s extensive program schedule and works with the curatorial team to build out and install shows. In addition, he developed the Con Safos and On All Fronts speaker series to pair with the exhibitions: Boom Oaxaca (2023) and Humanizar Historias (2026). Previously, he worked as the stage manager of CIVIC DTLA, a multiuse space that hosted and produced concerts, nightclub parties, gallery performance art, and film, TV, and still photography in downtown Los Angeles.
Joseph is the former poet laureate for the City of Fresno (2023-25) and a Wallace Stegner Fellow in Poetry at Stanford University. He is the author of Shadowboxing: Poems & Impersonations, winner of the American Book Award.
