A one-day workshop that introduces students to the importance of Día de Muertos. Through the creation of individual ofrendas, students will honor and remember loved ones using mixed media.
Learning Goals

By the end if the workshop, students will:
- Learn about the cultural significance of Día de Muertos.
- Learn how ofrendas incorporate the four elements: fire, water, earth and air.
- Apply knowledge of Día de Muertos to build their own ofrenda using mixed media.
Deliverable
Students will understand the foundations of the history and traditions of Día de Muertos by creating an individual ofrenda.
