PROGRAM: LECTURA BILINGUE Y TALLER DE ARTE
Every first and third Saturday bilingual educators read a bilingual book, and lead an art workshop for children of all ages and their families.
Bilingual Storytime at Arte Américas is a fun and interactive event where kids can enjoy stories in both English and Spanish.
On Saturday, December 7th, from 2:00–4:00 PM, families are invited to Arte Américas, to listen to an inspiring story about a young girl who, guided by her grandmother’s teachings, becomes a water protector and stands up against an oil pipeline threatening her community.
After the story, kids will have the opportunity to try watercolor painting and create their own art inspired by the story’s powerful message. Families will also get access to free books and connect with local artists and educators who will lead this exciting storytime and art activity.
