PROGRAM: LECTURA BILINGUE Y TALLER DE ARTE
Join us for a bilingual reading of Free to Learn: How Alfredo Lopez Fought for the Right to Go to School, read with special guest, Peter Roos. Together we’ll learn how Alfredo and his attorney, Peter Roos, helped make sure all kids have the right to go to school. Following the story, we will create our own artwork inspired by the story.
Bilingual storytime is funded by a grant from @calartscouncil. Admission to Arte is free for program participants and we will be distributing free books to the first ten families! Books will also be available for purchase in our tiendita.

Acompáñenos en una lectura bilingüe especial con abogado de derechos civiles, Peter roos. Free to Learn: How Alfredo Lopez Fought for the Right to Go to School (Libre para aprender: cómo Alfredo López luchó por el derecho a ir a la escuela), con Juntos aprenderemos cómo Alfredo y su abogado ayudó a garantizar que todos los niños tuvieran derecho a ir a la escuela. Después de la historia, crearemos nuestras propias obras de arte inspiradas en el cuento.
La hora del cuento bilingüe está financiada por una subvención de @calartscouncil. La entrada a Arte es gratuita para los participantes en el programa y distribuiremos libros gratis a las diez primeras familias. También habrá libros a la venta en nuestra tiendita.
