A two-day workshop that invites students to explore themes of community, identity, and collaboration through art. Through collaborative planning and segmented painting technique students will develop a classroom mural that reflects their shared
values.
Learning Goals

By the end of the Workshop students will:
- Describe the role of community in the story and relate it to their own lived experiences.
- Collaboratively develop artistic ideas by planning and contributing to a group mural.
- Apply segmented painting techniques to complete a classroom mural.
Deliverable
A classroom mural that visually represents what makes their own community meaningful.
