RFQ Request for Qualifications
Call for Teaching Artists: Request for Qualifications (RFQ)

Arte Américas is building a database of qualified teaching artists for current and future arts education programs. If you are a practicing artist with teaching experience and an interest in community arts, youth engagement, or creative learning, we invite you to submit your RFQ (Request for Qualifications).
Please note: This is not a job application. This is an opportunity for teaching artists to share their qualifications arand interest in working with Arte Américas.
Why Submit?
By submitting your RFQ, you will be added to our internal Teaching Artist Database. This database helps us identify and connect with artists for future opportunities, including:
- In-school residencies
- Bilingual Storytime Workshops
- Community workshops
- Special events
Who Should Apply?
We welcome submissions from:
- Practicing artists in visual, performing, literary, or media arts
- Teaching artists with experience in formal or informal settings
- Artists passionate about working with youth, underserved communities, or community-centered projects
What to Prepare:
To complete the RFQ, please have the following materials ready:
- Resume or Curriculum Vitae
- Short Bio
- Teaching Experience Overview
- Sample Curriculum or Lesson Plan
- General Schedule Availability
- Portfolio or Work Samples (optional)
