History
Arte Workshops is an invitation to create art at Arte Américas and it is designed to be accessible, highlighting different art materials and different modes of art-making that range from fine art practice to crafts of all forms. This program was piloted in November 2023 and is now held the second and fourth Sunday of every month from 2pm-4pm. We collaborate with local artists to highlight their artistic practice. From pinstriping with Julio’s Kustom Studio to making papel picado with artesano Salvador Ramos and bookbinding with Dahlia Jimenez, Arte Workshops are an opportunity for our community of all ages to experience art making. All are welcome and no previous experience is required to participate.
