Melissa Blanco

Bilingual Storytime Facilitator

At arte, she leads story time and facilitates an art activity inspired by the reading for children and families who join every first and third Saturday of the month. She also participates in Art Hop and other major events such as Día del Niño and the Calaca Gala.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Child Development with a minor in Spanish. Outside of ARTE, she works full-time as an Early Intervention Specialist, where she has the privilege of supporting children ages 0–3 and their families in their developmental journeys. Prior to this role, she worked as a toddler classroom teacher for a year and a half and previously as a dual immersion preschool teacher.

In her free time, she enjoys cooking, sipping iced coffee, collecting giraffe-print items, and spending time with her wife and their fur baby.
