Our exhibitions are a dynamic celebration of the diverse artistic expressions within the Latinx community. We host two to three main exhibitions a year, featuring an array of formats such as painting, sculpture, installation, video, photography, mixed media, and traditional crafts. Arte Américas’ exhibitions often reflect key cultural themes, historical narratives, and contemporary issues relevant to the Latinx experience. This might include everything from explorations of identity and migration to vibrant celebrations of Latinx heritage and traditions. The center provides a platform for both emerging and established Latinx artists and is deeply involved in the local community.

Our exhibitions frequently include interactive lesson plans, educational programs, and workshops. These activities are designed to engage visitors of all ages and foster a deeper understanding of the art and the artists behind it. Many exhibitions at Arte Americas are the result of collaborative projects, bringing together artists, curators, and community members to create unique and compelling presentations. Some exhibitions may be organized around specific themes or concepts, such as social justice, personal storytelling, and our popular Dia de Muertos: an annual Ofrenda collective exhibition that, since 1986, has helped identify local talent and frame their artworks in a specific context.
