Ashley Gutierrez

Internship & Fellowship Coordinator

Ashley is the Internship & Fellowship Coordinator for the Arte Américas Cultural Arts Fellowship (AACAF), which supports a cohort of five undergraduate students from UC Merced, CSU Fresno, and SCCCD interested in careers in the arts. A first-generation Latina college graduate, Ashley attended Reedley Community College before earning both her B.A. in History (2018) and an M.S. in Student Affairs & College Counseling (2023) from CSU Fresno.

Her prior roles include being an academic coach, adjunct professor, counselor, and coordinator at CSU Fresno and Reedley College. Ashley was a 2023 Graduate Dean’s Medalist nominee for her contributions to Fresno State and has presented at higher education conferences across CA. In 2025, she began her third year as Director of Professional Development for the CA College Personnel Association (CCPA), a state division of ACPA, supporting higher education professionals & graduate students in CA.
